Nicolette B. Hooge, DNP, MBA, CRNA is the Assistant Director of the Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia’s Acute Surgical Pain Management Fellowship. In this role, she coordinates the clinical practicum, leads fellowship webinars, and organizes and teaches Ultrasound Guided Regional Anesthesia Cadaveric workshops, Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS) workshops, and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE) workshops to advance anesthesia education and practice.
With 17 years of experience as a CRNA, Nicolette remains actively engaged in clinical practice at Alpine Surgery Center in Gunnison, CO. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
In addition to her clinical and educational roles, Nicolette presents at national and regional conferences, sharing expertise in ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, perioperative pain management, and anesthesia education. She has served on the AANA Finance Committee the STTI Philanthropy Committee, and other regional and local committees. Currently, she serves on the CoANA PAC committee, working to support CRNA practice rights and patient access to high-quality anesthesia care. She has also published in peer-reviewed journals, contributing to the growing body of evidence in anesthesia best practices.
