Teresa Morris has worked on Capitol Hill for over 35 years and has been with NOVA for more than nine years.
She began her DC career at the VFW Political Action Committee, then moved to the Legislative Service Department, focusing on veterans' healthcare, women veterans, and military personnel issues.
As VFW Grassroots Manager, she educated members on advocating for veterans' issues, wrote and provided testimony to Congress, and attended The Military Coalition (TMC) meetings representing VFW positions.
Teresa represents NOVA on the Nursing Community Coalition (NCC) and concentrates on advocating for NOVA's goals to Congressional leaders and staff.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Political Science from Bowling Green State University, Ohio.
