Jan Setnor is a 1998 graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. She retired as a Colonel, after 26 years in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Flight Nurse Instructor/Evaluator, CRNA, and Senior Staff officer for the Air Force Surgeon General working APRN and Nurse Anesthesiology policy issues. She has twice been the President of the Virginia Association of Nurse Anesthetists and has served on numerous committees with both the state and national associations. She has served as the AANA Director of Region 2, Vice-President, and is the current AANA President.
